Recently Seqwater Weeds Advisory Group (SWAG) visited the catchment and LBCCG offices to take a look at the catchment and particularly the unique weed issues. Weeds of course are a huge problem for all residents on the Blackall Range and Seqwater is no exception, particularly when they manage a significant area of land around the dam. The greater Lake Baroon catchment is also of concern as weeds – particularly aquatic weeds can cause enormous problems in the management of water supply storages.
